Our third cassette with Tallinn-based producer and artist Luurel Varas, Riddles For a Machine takes a deeper dive into hardware and ambient electronics. Though cut from the same cloth as his previous work, full of jazzy smears, funk-tinged psychedelics, and bubbling night-time atmospheres, the palette expands to make room for cooler grooves like "Phantom Island" and long-form meditations like "Timeout." It's one of his richest collections to date and shines throughout thanks to Jörgen Hermaste's thoughtful mastering.
