about

Following up on a couple of cassette releases on AMDiscs, Honeydrum is preparing for a homemade cassette singles collection and we were lucky enough to snag their latest effort towards that for our own free singles collection These two tracks represent the two extremes that run through their music. "Dead in the West" is a dense, noise jam, with moments of clarity and pop, but mostly garage rock swagger. "Levitator" is pure pop; a catchy British style psych-ballad. At the very least, they demonstrate that Honeydrum is a versatile band with more than a few concepts left to explore.

about

Crash Symbols began in 2010 on a West Virginia porch while Born Gold and Jheri Evans crashed at the home of Dwight Pavlovic ... more and Liz Toler. Its life quickly began with tapes from Hear Hums and Foot Village, following the success of Dope Mountain Fuck, the first in a series of “Dope Fuck” mixtapes. Bear in mind our good intentions and we’ll give you some tapes. Maybe you can play them in your car. less
